Which areas do you cover?I work within the Greater London area. Due to traffic and petrol costs, I generally prefer to travel within an approximate 10 mile radius of my home in SE22. For distances further than this I require a minimum booking number of 3 people and may have to charge extra for travel costs. This will be @60p per mile after the first 10 miles both ways. Central London weddings during peak season require a minimum booking of 3 people - within the Congestion Charge zone. As parking in London is becoming increasingly more costly, taxi costs may be added instead of congestion charges and parking. Please feel free to contact me with the location of the wedding and where the trial will take place, and I will let you know if I cover your area.

Which products do you use?I use a wide range of both professional TV & Film cosmetics and good quality high street names such as; Chanel, Dior, Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury, Benefits, MAC, Nars, Laura Mercier etc. If you have any special requirements, please let me know.
-
Can I book a trial on a weekend?I offer trials on Tuesday to Friday mornings at 11am during school term times - I have school age children so am unable to offer trials during school holidays. If you work as a teacher, or find week days difficult, I may be able to offer a Sunday morning trial during quieter months. Please be sure to book in as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
-
How long will the trial take?I like to allow between 2 and 3 hours for the trial. This is the average time that it takes, but it may be less or more. The main aim is to be sure that you are entirely happy with the look that I create.
-
What do you need from me for the trial?I will have a large range of makeup and hair styling products and equipment, along with a mirror and make up light with me . So all I will need from you is a room, a table and a chair. It's best if your hair is dry and styled in the normal way that you do it. It doesn't need to be freshly washed, but is helpful if the roots are not greasy. Please wear no makeup, if you can. Also, if you have any photos of hair styles and makeup looks that you like, please keep them together for me, so I can get a good idea of the look that you're after. If you have already chosen hair accessories and/or a veil, it is helpful to have these with you for the trial - but not essential. I can help with any decisions regarding accessories.

How can I secure your services for my wedding day? Please go to the booking page on the website and complete the form. I require a non-refundable deposit of £100 to secure my hair and make-up services for your wedding date.
-
How much do I pay for the make up trial? The price of your hair and makeup trial is £200. There may be additional fees for travel and parking, these will be confirmed when you send your booking fee.
-
How long will the hair and makeup take on the wedding day?Due to my many years experience, I am more than able to create the look that you and your bridesmaids desire, without compromising time on the wedding day. In general, I like to allow an hour and a half for the bride's hair and makeup and approximately one hour for each extra person who requires both hair and makeup. Timings will be carefully worked out after your trial when we have established the style that you require and the number of people in your bridal party. If you are getting married early in the day and have many bridesmaids, I may need to bring a colleague with me to assist. This will not incur an extra charge.
-
Will I need to touch up my makeup on the day?Your make-up will be applied professionally, so it should last you well throughout the day. I would recommend reapplying your lipstick from time to time. I will provide you with a small pot of your chosen lipstick and a brush. If you are prone to shine, I would recommend carrying a compact translucent face powder or some face blotting paper, to reduce any shine on the forehead and nose during the day. If you are unsure what to get, I am happy to give advice.
-
What happens if you are sick or have an accident? In the highly unlikely event that I am unable to make the booking due to illness or any personal emergency, I will try to find you a replacement make-up artist or hair designer. I am in touch with several highly trained hair and makeup artists, who could be available to step in. I take detailed notes and photos on the trial day so that your look can be re-created. In the event that I cannot find anyone else available that I would recommend, then the full extent of my liabilities would be to give you a full refund of services not yet used.
